<lj:music>Across the Universe soundtrack</lj:music>

On Thursday, a week ago, Dixi and I attended a ballgame. We actually read and talked through most of it, but that's what we normally do. The people sitting behind us was giving me grief for reading during a game, scoffing at me at one point. Then asking me if I was writing a recap for the game when I pulled out my notebook to jot down an idea for my story. Dixi and I each got an awesome guitar pin with the Cardinals emblem, which is kinda cool and different. We went to Stake 'N Shake afterwards and a young boy, yes a boy of about 18 maybe 19 looked at Dixi, myself and me mum before asking us if we needed a kids menu. Me mum politely refused but he was adamant about our needing one. He wouldn't move to seat us until we took one. At which point Dixi and I are exchanging glances while we try to hold back laughter. To further complicate the evening on the way of taking Dixi home me mum decided she wanted a picture of us to remember the night, so she pulls off into the Dicky Bub parking lot, at about 11:30 at night. It's pitch black and the pictures aren't working, luckily the police didn't show up.
I also ordered a cd, something I never do or buy, usually I kidnap my brother's to put on my computer. Anyway, it's the soundtrack for the best movie in the world, Across the Universe. Anyway, I've yammered at you long enough, I will let you go read someone else's pointless dribble.

The Tense of Which I Write....and Occasionally Attempt to Speak

So I hope all you graduates had a good weekend. Congrats! i watched several season finals, very good all of them. I feel a little crazy because of the book I'm working on I have to continuously, switch from present to past tense and then back again. When I finally take a break from writing I end up not knowing what tense I'm in and which to speak in, making conversations very confusing. I am very grateful to Hannah who has enabled me to feel like this book is going in a direction and I'm not just rambling on for pages pages like I am here. I hope you all have a good summer and please continue to write this rambling untensified person who believes she is possibly a minute or two behind or ahead of the world. And getting later by the moment either way you look at it. Pip pip and cereal.

The Bookfair

So the Boofair was awesome. I ended up going with Michelle H. Ashley G. and Sarah McG. as well as me brother and Parental Unit. I found tons of books, ok 20 or 21books. But I think I will enjoy them all.
Afterwards we went out to Steak 'N Shake. The girls got a booth and we were waited on by this hot guy name Jae. I couldn't stop turning red which was highly embarrassing since he kept flirting with me and called me Ginger a few times. He had the most gorgeous eyes and dime size gages in his ears. He told me what street he lives on in Union, sorry but only four people hold that info and I will not be giving it up lightly, and also that he has six brothers. Before we could leave Michelle wrote him a lovely note telling him I, myself, wanted his "hot body" and then proceeded to write my number. We filled it with his tip and waited to watch while he read it. The smile/look on his face was priceless. Sadly, I haven't heard from him.

So this weekend is the Greater St. Louis Bookfair! It'll be awesome and I can't wait to go. It's in the Dove mall parking garage, the ground level is filled with tables that are filled with books, literally millions. You get a shopping cart and just go for it. I've sadly run out of room in my room for more books so I think I must break down and put some in the basement. I will now stop rambling on about my lack of book space and the perils that it causes.
